Elia grew up wanting to be a clown, while his parents wanted him to become a doctor. So they compromised and he became an actor (after getting a Bachelors in Marketing). His journey has lead to him to some of the best comedy schools in the world, such as The Second City (Toronto) and The Groundlings(Los Angeles). In addition to his comedy training, he has studied at LB Acting Studios, Armstrong, and Pro Actors Lab in Toronto. And when he is not acting, working, crying in the shower and auditioning, you can find him watching anime and listening to George Michael.
